Celebrating the Year of Monkey with Monkey Shoulder

2016 also mark as the year of monkey in Lunar calender. Let take a look of the uprising blended whisky that caught a lot of the attention recently and won multiple awards on blended whisky catagory.

The name ‘Monkey Shoulder’ pays homage to the hardworking maltmen who used to get afflicted by sore shoulders from the many hours of shovelling malt by hand, causing them to hang their arms down like a monkey.

Monkey shoulder is a creation from legendary Malt Master David Stewart when he decided to create the world first "Triple" malt by combining 3 single malt of the speyside finest distillery.

The 3 speyside malt(monkey) then spend 3 months in a small marrying tun to make eye contact and and hangout with each other to create this unique and smooth blended malt that made it ways to the award of
