Springbank claims to be the only distillery that performs the complete production process in its own facilities — including floor malting, maturation, and bottling.

There are many versions of this rather legendary Springbank 21yo. They were bottled in dumpy bottles during the 1980’s. After that, regular bottles appeared with a cardboard box and slightly different printing, first with a jagged label and then with a straight cut label. As the distillery was closed from 1979 until 1989, it was clear that it wouldn’t come back before 2011. Several batches were bottled in the 1980’s and 1990’s but since 2005 the reserves had dried up.

In 2005, the last batch was released (2400 bottles).

What we have here is a Springbank 21 years latest release on 2011. with only 1560 bottles
