Aultmore, the last great malts of scotland?

Was lucky enough to be invited to have a sampling glass of this beautiful branded packaging 12 years Speyside Whisky few days ago.

At the first glance, i was attracted by the elegant bottle and the pale golden yellow color. Bringing it close, it's refreshing honey and vanila aroma, a very misterious hint of lemon.

On the palate, intense and complex sweetness is like icing on sugar and honey, so refreshing just like the box that carry the foggie experience, deep and layered with slight spicy heat at the back of it.

Short but sharp finish, The sugary sweetness fades rapidly to leave the zesty sharp lemon notes to fight it out. It is mouth watering and fresh, and the spirity heat adds to this.

It was a great expereince, and i'm looking forward to see this bottle to bring up the hype in the market. One of a must have whisky in the list for 2016.
